  • No. qgvdial by itself does not auto-start. The telepathy component qgv-tp does auto-start. Since it needs qgvdial to function, the telepathy framework ensures that qgvdial is running. This causes qgvdial to be started sometime after boot up.
  • Are you quitting qgvdial using "Ctrl-Q" ? If so, then read the point above. If you want it out of the way, dismiss qgvdial but don't quit it. This way, the telepathy framework will see that it is still running and not attempt to restart it.
  • Done. Down voted. Is there a way to "un-promote" it?

  • does this program start automatically at system-restart?
  • on my N900, it seems to pop up at the most unexpected times. not sure what triggers it.
  • there is an older version of this program (0.2.349-1) in Extras-Testing. would you please vote it down?
