For encryptions, Gringotts makes use of the libGringotts library, that is based upon libMCrypt and MHash by Nikos Mavroyanopoulos; in addition, it uses GTK+ 2 for the interface.

Comix is a user-friendly, customizable image viewer specifically designed to handle comic books. It reads images in ZIP, RAR or tar archives (also gzip or bzip2 compressed) as well as plain image files. This version is modified for better use with maemo.

(Comix on the IT is resource intensive; opening a new file can take 5-15 seconds.)
