fMSX emulates MSX, MSX2, and MSX2+ home computers that have been popular in Japan, Netherlands, Russia, and Brazil. This version of fMSX has been specifically adapted for Nokia tablets. It supports joypad simulation with a stylus (or finger) input and will automatically open *.rom and *.dsk files from the file manager.

Fred is a logical arcade game. The goal is to navigate a little pink spider through a system of platforms. Fred can not die–you can touch whatever objects you like and fall from arbitrary height.

A music score editor capable of importing midi and lilypond files and playing the scores via timidity (midi player) if installed

TiMidity++ is a software synthesizer. It can play MIDI files by converting them into PCM waveform data; give it a MIDI data along with digital instrument data files, then it synthesizes them in real-time, and plays. It can not only play sounds, but also can save the generated waveforms into hard disks as various audio file formats.

TiMidity++ is a free software, distributed under the terms of GNU general public license.

WeightJinni is a small program that allows you to track all the things you eat and drink together with your current weight.

Besides a table view it also show in a small graph your weight and kcal (or other unit) per day.

Future enhancements like statistics, meal suggestions, improved graphics etc. are planed.

Usage: Use popup menues for the tables. Stroke up or down on the graph to switch resolution.

Maemo Periodic is a periodic table that shows a great quantity of information about chemical elements.

This provides a way to configure gnokii without editing a file and with gnokii telling you what model is your phone ... There is also a -dev package that provide acces to the lib part (check out a use example in phonelink)

mogg provides Ogg Vorbis support for the Nokia 770, N800 and N810.

After installation, Audio Player (and other applications) should play Ogg Vorbis files and radio streams just fine.

Comparison to the other "Ogg Support" project:

A port of TiEmu2, a Ti-89, 92 and V200 Texas Instrument calculators emulator.

Use the menu key during emulation to get the menu. Don't move the stylus while pressing a key of the calculator. If you do that, if you press another key, the emulator will react as if you pressed the key you were on while releasing your stylus. To correct that, click on that key.

mDictionary (known as WhiteStork) is a multilingual dictionary enabling its users to use many dictionary formats. Its dedicated platforms are Nokia N770, N800 and N810 internet tablets. Our final goal is to use many search engines so that different file formats could be used. They will be in a form of dynamically loadable modules. Currently there are engines available for the XDXF and StarDict dictionaries. There is also support for user bookmarks and tar.gz files.

This is a plugin for the Internet Search Applet on the Maemo desktop (Home screen). It uses "tabletSearch", a internet search based on the Google Custom Search Engine (CSE). It's the "perfect" search plugin for anything Nokia Internet Tablet and Maemo related.

Hildonized and maemo-ized port of xdaliclock - fullscreen digital clock. When a digit changes, it "melts" into its new shape. The date is displayed when you touch the screen.

Especially useful with "moreDimmingOptions" package (look for it in System category).

ColEm will run software written for ColecoVision videogame console produced by Coleco in the 80s. This version of ColEm has been specifically optimized for Maemo, with touch screen support and ARM assembler optimizations.

RoadMap for Maemo is a vector mapping application for the n800/n810. It can use maps compiled from U.S. Census Bureau Tiger Data, ESRI shapefiles or openstreetmap.org binary protocol map data. It can also import/export route data in GPX format for use by other apps like Maemo-Mapper. Roadmap features include- 2D/3D views, openstreetmap.org download based on GPS position, highly configurable UI, auto-start of gpsd, voice notifications, address lookup and more! (requires wget)
