Hex-a-hop is a puzzle game based on hexagonal tiles. There is no time limit and no real-time elements.

The objective is simply to destroy all the green hexagonal tiles on each of the 100 levels. As you progress through the game, more types of tiles are introduced which make things more difficult and interesting (hopefully).

Barrage is a artillery action game with the objective to kill and destroy as many targets as possible within 3 minutes. You control a gun that may either fire small or large grenades at soldiers, jeeps and tanks. Targets are fast paced and require careful aiming as it takes half a second to reload the gun. Additionally you have to keep an eye on your ammo and reload in time. Useful to kill some minutes of idle time. :)

Advanced Backlight is a statusbar applet that combines the volume and backlight applets, and gives access to the full 128 levels of backlight (127 on the N800), as opposed to the 5 levels provided by the Nokia applet.

mplayerplug-in is a browser plugin that uses mplayer to play digital media from websites.

This plug-in gives MicroB the ability to play media from a website the net without reading the source html and getting the url manually. Media is played embedded in the page or in a separate window depending on how the author of the webpage intended the media to be seen.

The user interface is completely finger-friendly with big buttons and a big position display on the main window.

Provides a shopping list with aisles/categories and a UI that's useful whilst shopping. The list can be flicked and scrolled using your fingers and the items are crossed of the list with a left-right scribbling gesture.

As you buy items and scribble them off the list they vanish so you only see what's left.

Maemo Mapper is geographical mapping visualization software specifically designed for the Maemo platform and the Nokia 770/N800/N810 form factor. Conler is a Wi-Fi Connection Handler. It is an application which allows user to configure a sequence of commands which will be executed on connections with Wi-Fi access points.

Conler can be used to make backups, to make time synchronisation, to run notifications and to do a lot of other things. See Cookbook to get more real-life examples.

Formido is one of those games, where you are loaded with some guns and you go shooting different things. 'Things' in this case are big, ugly, - not green though - alien insects. The idea is to kill as many of those bastards as possible. Eventually they will overcome you, but struggle as long as you can. There are some power-ups to aid you in your honorable quest. Keep in mind, that those critters are rather tough and generally do nasty things when in close range of any player-characters.

This is an updated version of the 1980's game developed by David L. Clark of BMB Compuscience Canada - it has been adapted to run under *nix using the SDL toolkit. Poor graphics, stupid AI, and horrible sound await you. The gameplay is simple, addictive, and fun. A `side-scroller', you pilot your biplane across a static field, destorying enemy encampments and planes.

Tile World is an emulation of the game "Chip's Challenge". "Chip's Challenge" was originally written for the Atari Lynx by Chuck Sommerville, and was later ported to MS Windows by Microsoft (among other ports).

Speccy will emulate different models of Sinclair ZX Spectrum and its clones, such as Timex Sinclair, Pentagon, Scorpion, Didaktik, etc. This version of Speccy has been specifically adapted for Nokia tablets. It supports joypad simulation with a stylus (or finger) input and will automatically open *.z80, *.sna, *.tap, *.tzx, *.trd, *.scl, *.fdi, and *.dsk files from the file manager.

fMSX emulates MSX, MSX2, and MSX2+ home computers that have been popular in Japan, Netherlands, Russia, and Brazil. This version of fMSX has been specifically adapted for Nokia tablets. It supports joypad simulation with a stylus (or finger) input and will automatically open *.rom and *.dsk files from the file manager.

MilkyTracker is an open source, multi-platform music application for creating .MOD and .XM module files. It attempts to recreate the module replay and user experience of the popular DOS program Fasttracker II, with special playback modes available for improved Amiga ProTracker 2/3 compatibility.

MasterGear runs software written for 8bit SEGA gaming consoles: Master System, GameGear, SG-1000, Mark2, and Mark3. It will also emulate SC-3000 home computer and SF-7000 disk drive extension.

The Maemo port of MasterGear has been specifically optimized for tablets. It simulates the joypad with the touch screen and automatically opens SMS/GG files.

iNES runs Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Famicom games on your tablet. It will also emulate Famicom Disk System (FDS), VS System arcade box, FamilyBASIC keyboard, Zapper light gun, and other NES addons.

The Maemo port of iNES has been specifically optimized for tablets. It simulates NES joypad with touch screen, automatically opens NES files, and uses 6502 CPU emulation written in ARM assembler.

VGBA will run games written for Nintendo GameBoy Advance on your internet tablet. This version of VGBA has been specifically adapted for Nokia internet tablets, runs games at almost the original speed, and will simulate joypad with the touchscreen input.

When you play a GBA game with VGBA, please, make sure you also own an actual GBA cartridge with this game. It is the ethical thing to do.

Fuse is a Sinclair ZX Spectrum emulator. It supports several models (including 16K/48K/128K/+2/+2A/+3 and some Russian clones), with quite faithful emulation of the display and sound. It can load Z80, SZX and SNA snapshots, TAP and TZX virtual-tape files, MDR microdrive images and DSK floppy disk images, among many others.

This is the Maemo port of the Fuse emulator.

Battle for control of villages, using a variety of units which have advantages and disadvantages in different types of terrains and against different types of attacks. Units gain experience and advance levels, and are carried over from one scenario to the next in a campaign.

VGB will run software written for Nintendo GameBoy and GameBoy Color videogame handhelds. It will also emulate Super GameBoy, GameLink, Pocket Printer, and other GameBoy addons. Please note that VGB will not emulate GameBoy Advance. You will need VGBA for that.

The Maemo port of VGB has been specifically optimized for tablets. It simulates GameBoy joypad with touch screen and automatically opens GB/GBC files.

ColEm will run software written for ColecoVision videogame console produced by Coleco in the 80s. This version of ColEm has been specifically optimized for Maemo, with touch screen support and ARM assembler optimizations.

maemoscrobbler is a Last.FM (http://www.last.fm) scrobbler plugin that keeps track of listened audio tracks and reports them to Last.FM. The default media player and any other media players using the OSSO Media Server architecture (Canola, UKMP, etc) are supported. To scrobble from any other player/system, (MPlayer, xmms) specific maemoscrobbler support in the player is needed.

Wizard Mounter allow you to mount remote resources like NFS or SAMBA. It let you manage different bookmarks so you can save different profile for different network. Read the 'README_FIRST' on the project page. Feedback is welcome.
