gvdown is an application that can download videos from video sharing websites like YouTube, Google Video, MyVideo and so on.

OpenTTD is a open source reimplementation of the Transport Tycoon Deluxe game engine. This is a Maemo port of OpenTTD, which is essentially the same as the normal version, but with maemo-ised keybindings.

Hex-a-hop is a puzzle game based on hexagonal tiles. There is no time limit and no real-time elements.

The objective is simply to destroy all the green hexagonal tiles on each of the 100 levels. As you progress through the game, more types of tiles are introduced which make things more difficult and interesting (hopefully).

Barrage is a artillery action game with the objective to kill and destroy as many targets as possible within 3 minutes. You control a gun that may either fire small or large grenades at soldiers, jeeps and tanks. Targets are fast paced and require careful aiming as it takes half a second to reload the gun. Additionally you have to keep an eye on your ammo and reload in time. Useful to kill some minutes of idle time. :)

Leafpad is a simple GTK+ based text editor, the user interface is similar to Notepad. It aims to be lighter than GEdit & KWrite, and to be as useful as them.

OSM2Go is a editor for openstreetmap. OpenStreetMap is for maps what Wikipedia is for encyclopedia.

It makes heavy use of the plattform as it uses the internet to transfer data from and to the map servers. It uses GPS and the hirez touchscreen.
