We’re proud to present the first preview build of Opera Mobile 10 for Nokia N8X0.
This Maemo version of Opera Mobile 10 was created as a hobby project by a small team of developers in their spare time. As such, it has not undergone our usual quality assurance processes, and at times may not feel as polished or complete as an official release. This also means that there may never be a “final” release of Opera Mobile 10 for Maemo devices, since it’s just that much more fun to add shiny new features rather than fixing boring old bugs.
There are a number of known issues with this build, listed below:
•Adobe Flash and other plugins are not supported.
•Screen tearing may be visible when panning, especially in portrait mode. We expect to fix this in a future update.
•The built-in on-screen keyboard is not supported. Use the physical keyboard or the on screen keyboard included with Opera Mobile.
•There is no power management support. In practice this means that if you open a page with animations and leave Opera running, you will soon be using a payphone. Power is drained even when Opera is running in the background and/or the screen is turned off.
•If you set Opera as the default browser, for example by installing the Browser Switchboard, an extra empty tab will get opened every time you open a link from an external application.

Learning tool based on spaced repetition technique
This is mobile version of Mnemosyne software. It resembles a traditional flash-card program to help you memorise question/answer pairs, but with an important twist: it uses a sophisticated algorithm to schedule the best time for an item to come up for review.

LayoutSwitcher displays current keyboard layout in the statusbar.
Do a long tap on the applet and you will see popup menu which can: * Block onscreen keyboard from appearing * Copy selection to clipboard (useful for N800 owners, which doesn't have Ctrl+C, in apps that doesn't provide Copy menu, for example, Pidgin chat history window)
Note for N80 users: if you notice that LayoutSwithcer displays incorrect layout, switch layout once using virtual keyboard and you will get it fixed. You need to do it obly once.
There is also version for OS2006 at the project page at garage. It switches layouts with the tap on statusbar icon, which is easier than 770's native method.

Computer algebra system (CAS) in Python. SymPy is a Python library for symbolic mathematics. It aims to become a full-featured computer algebra system (CAS) while keeping the code as simple as possible in order to be comprehensible and easily extensible. SymPy is written entirely in Python and does not require any external libraries. This package contains the interactive shell for SymPy, i.e., isympy, which starts ipython/python interactive shell and loads SymPy.

IPython can be used as a replacement for the standard Python shell, or it can be used as a complete working environment for scientific computing when paired with the standard Python scientific and numerical tools. It supports dynamic object introspections, numbered input/output prompts, a macro system, session logging, session restoring, complete system shell access, verbose and colored traceback reports, auto-parentheses, auto-quoting, and is embeddable in other Python programs.
