lcars-complete (Star Trek themes) v4.3

This is brilliant. Not 100% as usable as the default themes, but so much more fun to show to people... I've been giggling happily every time I look at my tablet, and everyone I've shown it to has been highly amused too. Fantastic job :)

Daniel: The sounds can be easily removed while keeping the themes, since they have their own package. Same goes for the replacement icons/startup graphics. First uninstall lcars-complete (a meta-package which depends on all other LCARS packages, but installs no files of its own), and then you can remove the sounds and/or extras packages while keeping the themes. Reboot after removing lcars-sounds, and Nokia's sounds will return. We made separate packages for the various parts so people can pick and choose which parts to keep.

p.s. I wouldn't have rated my own software, but this comment system requires a rating, and if I select nothing it rates 0/5 stars. Very nice, Nokia ;)

My favorite theme by far, with one or two very minor issues.

1) Using GPE calendar the light font is almost invisible against the yellow calendar background. This is of course because the LCARS theme uses light text on a black background. Using the orange 'PADD' variation resolves this, but I don't think it looks as nice as 'Modern'.

2) The sounds are permanent. That is, you have to completely uninstall the theme in order to use the default ones properly. Again,I suspect this is a limitation of OS2008 rather than the LCARS theme. Note that the theme itself is easily removed.

Overall, highly recommended.

Very intricate and interesting theme, includes lots of new menus, new sound effects, new icons and even a new startup screen.

Installed from the install link without any problems, and uninstalled correctly too.

Remember to change to another theme BEFORE you uninstall LCARS, otherwise you could brick your tablet.
