Perhaps this app needs a system where users can rate if a channel works?
Too rate thumbs down and the channel link is flagged for review by the owner, but then this would need a simple website setup to maintain this system?
I like the idea.
For the uk you can just goto www.tvcatchup.com to watch uk freeview channels.
That is legal and never goes down :)
How can I update if I have the older version. Do I have to uninstall the old one?
I'm afraid this is impossible to keep in good shape by a single package maintainer. The few things I tried out were already obsolete: Canadian CBC Manitoba was a link to news from last September, both in the Extras and Extras-Testing version. German programs were not what they were supposed to be. Instead of the high quality German/French cultural program there appeared a German continuous advertisement channel and so on. Less would be more.
