Settlers II alike fantasy real-time strategy game

Widelands is a strategy game aiming for gameplay similar to Settlers II by BlueByte.

In this game, you start out on a small piece of land with nothing more than a few of useful resources. Using those, you can build yourself an empire with many thousands of inhabitants. On your way towards this goal, you will have to build up an economic infrastructure, explore the lands around you and face enemies who are trying to rule the world just like you do.

If widelands does not start then type the following in a terminal (This installs a needed library): sudo apt-get install libglu1-mesa

Game doesn't start. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling again. Has anyone had this problem and been able to solve it?

Note: Love the settlers, would really like to get this game running.

really really great game easy to understand only the buttons to close a window are hard to press :( butt all in all 5 stars worth..best game if you have more time to waist

Might be worth pointing out in the main text that this is a very large download, so recommend WIFI or 3.5G and a very unlimited data plan.

I've been wanting an RTS game for my N900, and this sounds great. But like Miha, I can't for the life of me figure out how to actually play it! Any help appreciated.
