Thanks for this application. That was something I missed since I own the N900.

awesome! intuitive to use and just works...

one comment: when i first started it, in the conversation search settings both icons (for sms and chat? not sure) were not selected so it was not finding any messages.

and: searching emails has been the most missed feature for me on thwe n900 so far.. that would make me really happy!

Really useful application, nice UI. Feature request: Make music searchable (probably through Tracker) as well.

Also, what about saving and recalling searches? For example, I might want to display all conversations containing "http://" from today and have that available as an option for quick selection.

Another cool feature would be an instant web server that exposes the Scout UI via HTTP when activated from within the UI, so I can search the device from my Desktop computer (and copy'n'paste content from search results).

Anyway, thanks for the nice app :)

Very handy. i now have keywords in the notes for groups in my contacts, so I can easily locate the entire group quickly. Thanks for helping me to manage my other hobbies.

Really cool app. I use it to search my contacts with Chinese characters in their name and it works. Feature wishlist: option to search filenames (+file contents)

Thanks. Excellent app ! Why did the nokia staff not implement this directly to the Maemo system ? Anyway, do you plan to include a mail search ? Mails and conversations have close utility.

Full marks, I have been desperate for a program like this, as it does what the desktop search used to do on the S60 platform. This program is fast, has a clean interface, and is a must have.
