Peter, can you post how you installed the library. I'm having the same issue. The interface looks good but the help menu needs help.

Sorry guys, maybe the info about dictionary installation on Wiki is satisfactory for a Linux user, but not for me. Where should I write in the command line - in PC or X terminal? How should it looks like exactly? I am missing the name of the dictionary in the command line... I am just a simple everyday user, and would appreciate if you will consider us too at the explanations... No offence... :)
Thanks, Peter
I try to unpack the dictionary file with the command: tar xjvf but it gives me tar: invalid option --j. Why is that?
Another favourite application I used on my N800 now usable on my N900. Thanks Alexander.
Raz, if you tap the help option in the menu it takes you to the Wiki that gives full information about where to get dictionaries and how to install them.
How can one add words in the dicionary. It is a nice looking application but with no words/dictionaries in it. Also can't get the Dictionaries Tab and Plugins Tab to work (under Settings). Not even the info button works.

I didnt actualy, because I still dont know how. Only thing what I did managed, was downloading the dictionary files I have found on the net, in the "Dictionary" folder (I have created it in the "Documents" folder in the N900. But thats all - the QStarDict application dont detect them, so no success...
