very good application to write code on the N900. it has syntax highlightin for many languages. it allows to launch Python scripts with the press of a button.

Brilliant.

Pygtkeditor is awesome because: * It stops the input-method from capitalizing after every fullstop in the application; * Syntax highlighting; and * Quick shortcuts for tabbing. A must when the N900 doesn't have a tab button on its keyboard...

PyGTKEditor is both the easiest way to get Python installed on a new tablet/N900, and to edit Python code on it ! Works really well, implements a few SciTe shortcuts. Thanks Benoît ! :-)

Hi, You need to save your file with a know extension, as by default, text file or Untitled didn't have any syntax hilight.

I like PyGTKEditor for maemo very much, but it won't hilight syntax, well, at least in my case. Can someone help with this? Maybe i should install gtksourceview2 and it's python binding?
