App allowing for the sending of arbitrary files over Bluetooth, E-mail, or a "Sharing service"
Petrovich allows you send a file of your choosing via Bluetooth, E-mail, or a "Sharing service".
Nothing more, nothing less.

hi.. just experienced a new problem for the first time the app has been working wonderfully for over a monthbut all of a sudden when i click on it, it starts opening and then just shuts down. happened 10 continous times.. ununstalled and reinstalled but no luck
any thoughts... cheers
Thanks Faheem Pervez. If no one developed this i bet Nokia would not have it in the new pr1.2 firmware either.
Brainstorm!!! use wifi to send files to each other it's alot faster than bluetooth :-)
Awesome stuff, probably the first app I installed on my N900 since I already knew Nokia had forgotten the Bluetooth transfers...

The name was suggested to me by Thomas Perl. The default e-mail client is called Modest, this app is called Petrovich and there is a program called Mussorgsky allowing you to edit your songs' tags. All those put together leads you to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modest_Mussorgsky :)
Why this program have a name Petrovich , that is very interesting for me , because my last name is Petrovic Hello from Bosnia

One of the best examples of a functionality present in all previous versions of Maemo, inexplicably "forgotten" by Nokia in Fremantle, and brought back by a talented community member... only better ! Thanks qwerty12 ! :-)
Incredibly useful - and a shining example of how a community application can easily make up for bad design decisions by Nokia. Everybody must have it!
Great app! Would be better if it allows showing and renaming file extension as well!
Default File Manager doesn't do this and there is a WONTFIX assigned to this bug.

Great app. A shame that this functionality wasn't built-in to the default Maemo 5 File Manager.
(The latest version allows the selection of individual files.)
A must-have add-on utility.
It would be nice to have the option of selecting some files from a folder instead of the entire folder.
