Best. Browser. Ever. Add flash, and it's perfect.

Excellent browser. The coolest part is the way it opens mobile site and making the text easy to read. Thanks to Opera.

Like textwrapping combined with zoom. Also use Opera on PC Linux at home, Windows at work. Used Opera browser sinze 1995, then in house.

I am beginning to prefer Opera Mobile over Maemo's standard browser. However I'd like to use the space key for paging down as with the standard browser. Would this be possible?

Excellent browser, I'm using it more everyday. I love how it adjusts the text when zooming and keep it all visible. Even in flash support is missing, for the rest, is the best browser. Even if most people prefer full websites, I like mobile versions of many sites even when using Wifi because they render and fit better on small device. Opera shows perfectly most mobile websites, filling up the entire screen with very legible text.

Has anyone installed a new release for Opera-mobile (version 11.0beta1-7-fremantle0) which has appeared today 2011-03-22? (sorry, cannot get the corresponding repo). I did it, but it doesn't work in my N900. Just a black screen with no functionalities but closing ...

I can't make my mind up? Opera's better for some sites and the nokia one is better for others. For example, i'm with hotmail and its impossible to view it in desktop mode anymore but opera does! But on the other hand you can't upload anything using opera because i can't find the right folders unless theres something i'm missing. Its well worth having but not perfect. ****

Opera just rocks the mobile web. In GPRS, it's a must have to get your pages fast, and your dataplan safe. Flash support is the only feature missing

Just missing better zoom control and importation of bookmarks.

But there is just no better mobile browsers than Opera's.

Great browser, looks slick and fast. No flash support? It supports torrents though which compensates that little flawfor me. I'd say give it a try, what browser you end up using is a matter of taste anyway.

Great browser!

But if I had well understood it is not officially supported. This port is due to volunteers employees that made this good works.

Thanks to them.

Quality browser on a quality platform!

Certainly the best browser for the N900 when it is complete.

What I like: - speed - dashboard - tabs - turbo mode (great for edge networks)

What I miss: - flash - zooming control (through the volume buttons) - rendering can still be improved (check this page and look at the tennis draw rendering: http://sports.20minutes.fr/tennis/2010/atp/resultats/tournois/wimbledon-1.html)

What I would like: - bookmark integration with MicroB (whatever the method) - extension support (being able to integrate Xmarks would be great!)

Keep up the good work!

Fantastic! Used Opera in my "ancient" E61i, on which it worked really slick. Now, with Opera 10 and N900 married, wow!

Easily the most user friendly browser out there. Kudos for the great virtual keyboard design!

I've used this browser for a while and I'm really impressed. For an alpha build it's beyond expectation. The virtual keyboard is awesome.... especially in portrait-mode. Wish that could be made the system-wide virtual keyboard. Opera Mobile 10 consistently outperforms Micro-b in web-page load tests (and matches it "just" in application load time as well). Makes firefox/fennec (nightly builds) look like a turtle. Well done ..... really well done.

No flash support.... but you hardly notice.

Opera as usual best mobile browser. I hope flash will be added.

Works great.

However it should be mentioned that it can only be downloaded/installed when the extras-testing repository is activated.

Best browser on N900 imo. Sure it's missing flash, but for my normal browsing it's the best. Love the tabs and Opera Unite and other Opera functions.

Missing shortcut keys like ctrl+r for refresh and so on.

One of the most stable "alpha" builds I've ever used. It came out of nowhere and I really like what you've got here. Please bring better zooming(the circular MicroB scrolling is great) and Flash support. The browser is definitely better than current Firefox or Chromium builds. Portrait mode is reason enough for downloading it.

Please keep the updates coming Opera!

A good start and very fast (as you would expect from Opera) but a few niggling problems mean I still prefer microb. Hopefully given a bit more time it will be perfected tho.

all and all good start. zooming is something that should be fixed badly. that on-screen keyboard looks great! maybe a tad too small buttons for my fat hands but it works still. it wont replace microb in my books though :)
