Hi Felipe, compliments for your great application. Plese don't kill me if i'm gonna ask you questions probably allready made. :P Could you please tell me: - if i can choose/manage the widget 'cause i prefer "call" it when i need it without have one desktop less - if it's possible take off the connection web to www.crochik.com every time i turn on the N900.

Unfortunately the widget consitently crashes when I go online to skype facebook.
Feature request: Ability to change the sorting in the window to select contacts for a group. I'd like sorting by last name.

i can't use fastsms through mycontacts. I was enabled it in settigs-routting, but when i went to contact and tried to send a message can't get it work.
I used the instructions after PR1.3 and now able to view the contacts. Sometimes the group ringtone is not working and everytime I load the application it changes the ringtone set for the active profile to crochik-general.
IMPORTANT: YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE CONFIGURATIONS FOR THIS VERSION TO WORK ON PR1.3 (OR INSTALL THE VERSION ON EXTRAS-DEVEL)

@Mohammed: that is probably the issue on your phone (PR1.3 + old version of mycontacts). Follow the instructions above and let me know.
I might sound silly, but anyone can help me in importing my contacts? i have 1000 contacts

One update though: it seems that in some scenario qt mobility contacts will not report online status when mycontacts get started automatically on boot (all the contacts on the widget will have a border with the same color of the widget border). I am working to figure out the details and fix it on a new release. You should still see the contact status after clicking on it and if you shutdown the application and restart it manually the widget should start reporting the contacts status again.
Argh, it's me one more time..... I tested the IM status and it's not working, I had a look at my contacts numbers and adresses... in the N900 list I do have 3 phone numbers or more and email adresses also IM adresses , in your app, for those same contacts, I do find only the phone numbers, sometimes email but never the IM adress. it is just like if the app was unable to load those datas, even if I reboot my device, nothing changes. Another strange thing is that sometimes, the last 2 digits on phone numbers are hidden by thos picto on the right side of numbers.. however, I still use it, too cool your app, really. kristinof
@Felipe : so, I must admit you are great, sorry for my question I should have made tests before anoying you...one more time,many thanks for your app, realy good job...oh just an idea .. could you have a contact with Stefanos Harhalakis the author of DrLaunch in order to make the pictures rotate while changing landscape to portrait mode....it could be a realy good collaboration...isn't it....hey..realy many thanks
@kristinof: The widget show the contact status by changing the color of a thin border around the contact.
Sorry, don't take about my previous comment...it was for another apa.....about yours, juste one thing is missing maybe , the IM status, it will be perfect with it added..thank you for this app..and sorry for the mistake I made posting comment for another app... ;-)
Many thanks for this app, really great .. juste one or two thing that can be improved maybe.... 1) would it be possible to have one button (the last one for example..)to switch to another "page" of apps, this way it could be the easiest way to have more than 4 desks.... 2) it could be great if it was possible to move apps in the administration board...

love this app, installed through faster app, works like a charm, but why it starts up on main desktop when phone had a reboot? i prefer starting the app myself , can u set this as option?
I am sorry to inform that there is a problem with the extras repository and you won't find the application on the application manager until it is fixed. Clicking the "install green arrow" will not work either.
Unfortunately for now the only option is to enable and install from the other repositories (extras-devel or extras-testing) or download the deb file and install the dependencies "manually".

Can someone please help - I have been trying to install this app on my N900 from the Application Manager but I can NOT find it in there (searched in the Desktop section and also the All section but not there).
Does that mean it is still in the Extras-Devel Repo or am I doing something silly?
If only there were way to assign ring tones to individual contacts, that would be awesome.
I really liked the functionality of it, but in the end removed it as it consumed a significant amount of memory. It's also a touch slower than using the native contact routines, though I could live with that if I had my memory back ;-)
