This application is not 'Stable Quality': It's currently broken, and won't install due to python dependency issues.
The author will need to remedy these issues immediately, and not just point fingers.
After evaluating a few Twitter clients for Maemo over some time, Khweeteur is probably the best of them. (when it works)
This is Unfortunate, as when it does work, it's buggy, very processor intensive and hence uses lots of power, and often clunky.
My hope is that Benoît will eventually work it into a stable, quick and capable client.
First of all, we need to be able to upgrade to 'stable' releases successfully, unlike version v0.0.52-1. Expecting users to depend on extras-testing or extras-devel versions is not a sustainable option.
The recent dependency problem is not the author's fault - it is indeed caused by a bug in the maemo.org promoter. Giving a one-star rating because of this is simply not fair.
