Great app, I would only apreciate an easier way to turn it on.

cant understand why this would get any less than a 5 star rating. Its a flshlight like it says it is. any limitations such as the camera popping up is due to the os/phone not the app!!!

Works like a charm, nice work.

Useful addition, is a bit of a pain having the camera auto starting but apart from that works perfect.

Works beautifully, but it isn't exactly the most effective when it comes to just "ripping out" a flashlight. It kind of requires too many clicks, but I really can't offer a more effective way without making things more complex, so it really works fine the way it is.

Pratique mais pourquoi sommes-nous obligé d'ouvrir l'objectif pour le faire fonctionner ? C'est bête, non ?

It would be nice to add the ability to have the LEDs flash at a few Hz. Then it could be useful as a "flare" in roadside emergency situations.

Great app very useful, could do with a short cut and a way of activating without starting the camera, still great though.

I like to have a flashlight in my mobile. But the downside is the way to turn it on. A easier way to do it is needed.

Could not give a high rating because the app is too cumbersome to use. Works great, but an easier way to turn it on is required -- several solutions have already been suggested.

The Nokia n95 was not able to keep the led turned on because there was danger of a heat damage. keep it in mind..

This is very handy! However is it possible to have it as a shortcut rather than an option in the status menu. Just for easier and less cumbersome access..just a suggestion!

Would be good to over-ride the camera auto-opening, but works well.

Worked for a few times but then got the same message as Janne. Worked very well to start with - will try it again :)

Pretty useful. I just love the looks on people's faces when someone asks "Anyone have a flashlight?" and I take my phone out.

On a more serious note, I was hoping to use this with recording video in the dark, but I couldn't. Although the alternative of breaking the camera isn't an option either.

I love the idea, but when I open the flash cover then click on the status menu (after closing the camera program) I don't see any applet, I only have the standard ones (battery, alarm,profiles,volume,connections,bluetooth, status)

would a reinstall help ? maybe a restart ? or could be a conflict with something else ?

Also 2nd the suggestions for a shortcut/widget option.

Simple and usefull application. Only one request: disable camera autostart when flashlight is installed.

Wish list: A shortcut icon that turns on the flash immediately (instead or in addition to the menu).

Great! I really needed this app.

Only one issue: It's annoying that the camera app starts and I have to close it first. It's not the app's fault, but it's annoying none the less.

App works just fine here.

"Unable to intialize flashlight. Camera in use by another application." I don't have any other programs runnig and it still gives me the same text everytime I try. Is there any applications that's known to jam the flashlight app? Even reboot didn't work.
