that's just the way upgrading works with .deb -packages. We must reset the theme to something else (in my case, I reset it to NSeries) before removing the old version and installing a new version.
Do you really think that updates to extras -version are coming so frequently that it takes too much from you to run the Setup program once after upgrading? If so, then I cannot help you. You just need not to upgrade.
A nice-looking theme, but... Every time I've received an updated version of it, everything's reset to the default theme, so I've had to set it up again from scratch. Something I really can't be bothered with :-(

ust to make sure, you don't see any custom icons anywhere? There should be custom icons for following items: battery, cellular network level, file manager's folders, phone application's arrows, sms application should also have new envelopes.
Theme does NOT include icons for applications.
great theme. but for some reason, everything seems to work except for the custom icons. anyone know why this might be the case?
@daniel - id say if the issue only exists when your memory card is inserted, that maybe you have a virus or something corrupted on your memory card. i know my n900 has a tendency to corrupt data on the memory card occasionally, but it doesnt bother me since i can run fsck and i dont really use the card anyway.
This is really nicely done. With the new transitions and all the phone seems like a bran new. Thanks for great app!

please download and install Plastic Addon Pack 1 to get more schemes (DeepGreen is also in that package). I separated the packages because the size of the "base" package begun to be quite large...

i love it debating weather to install the Plastic Theme Add on, did anyone see this in the apps manager or installed it? comments? Anyone know where to get more fonts?

Very nice application, but until last update... after this we have to choose only from black theme - no orange, no blue, no nothing. rebooting fifty times does not help. strange...
Hello! I tried my n900 without your app and with a 16 GB card (very unstable!), and without tne card (stable). After that, I reinstalled your program (without the card). and it worked perfectly. My problems now are two:
1 - Apologize for the my previous message. 2 - Learn if someone that uses this mobile on a dayly basis does'nt have problems with a card installed.

@Katarzyna, it's normal that it starts with default setting every time you run the setup. Are you sure you didn't get the blue scheme after reboot? Only difference between default (black) scheme and blue is that buttons are highlighet in blue. Try some other scheme to see for sure that scheme has changed (like deep orange or extra coffee).
Black looks great, but I can't change to any other color. I select enable custom transitions, select Blue, save, and then when I open the settings again, they are back to the defaults. Any magic to changing colors?
Really cool, clean theme. Now with other colors than black. And a lot of updates.

@Daniel: I'm sorry to hear you really had a data loss, that sucks every time.
But I'm 99,9% sure it was not this theme that caused it. There's almost 40.000 downloads and I think some one else would have reported if this package caused any kind of data loss (and there's nothing in the source of this package that removes anything from /home/user/MyDocs).
No! I lost several files, even the "normal" backups on the n900. What I was saying was that "I got rid of both at the same date. Now (after that) my system is quite stable". But I lost everything I did'nt backup by other means, except (obviously) the backups I made to other disks...
@Daniel: so remlving the theme and SD-Card brought back your deleted files and folders?!? Now I'm even more confused...
Sorry... For real, I dont know if the problem relies on your program, or with the management by the OS of a 16GB card. I installed both together, and I got rid of both at the same date. Now my system is quite stable...
@Daniel: Whoa! That sounds wild. I somehow find it har d to believe it's the theme that's causing your problem. Sounds like you have some other seriious issues with the device and I'd suggest a reflash and see if that helps.
This is a very unstable app. I used it for 3 generations until the present, and ended with all my folders and files deleted and messed up I like the visual, but there are many problems to clean up with the N900 OS. It doesn'nt work at all if you have a card in the phone, but I suspect this is also a major problem of the 1.2 OS from Nokia,

I wish I could use Pleego separately from BP 'cuz it kills me when it updates and I have to reset everything. Good lookin' theme with some nice options though. Nokia should be looking at it for Meego options.
