Great app : very useful, works well and looks good.

Only (minor) complaint is that updating on GPS setting doesn't work unless the GPS location is updated through another program.

Would be nice to have an option to update GPS location from within.

I think this idea isn't good for battery.

Very nice app which I use constantly. However, I liked the previous version better. With the new animated eye candy, it takes somewhat longer to click through different locations. Perhaps that could be turned on/off in the settings? More importantly, I found the update previous behavior more useful. Namely that it just updates when one clicks updates, irrespective of the fact that one may prefer to have regular updates only when connected by WLAN. Now when I'm out of reach of WLAN and want to update only sporadically when using GPRS, I always have to change the settings, update, change the settings back to WLAN...

very nice app, i dont have to go to turn on a computer, radio or t.v just to check the weather.

i mean this app handles weather forecasts very good.

Jan, I'm sorry, but I don't understand your problem :( Please reboot your device and try again. And describe more completely your problem.

Please could you write when it try to connect to internet? I don't understand when it try connect, because I have set update every 1 hour, but not selected WLAN&GSM.It try connect again. When i ended incoming call it ask for selection of cennection (I storno this choise). 2 hour later N900 was connection to (trusted) WLAN.

Hi, I tested new version 0.25.1, it now don't make connection automaticly. Then a made connection to WLAN, but OMWeather don't update. I will continue in testing...

Great APP, thx. For N900 this new build (Version 0.25 build 30): I have probelm with automatic update, in last build when I have set update via WLAN, it update only when I make connection thru WLAN, now it make connection automaticly. Is it possible to make choise t update only when I establiset connection by hand? Thx

These guys hit another home run with this Maemo5 version. Vlad's involvement in the talk.maemo.org forums is much appreciated and this extra effort shows in the many updates that keep increasing the value this program offers. Don't leave home without it.

Hey Roman USA. You can change it via gconf-editor Unload Omweather. Start gconf-editor. Find in branch apps/maemo/omweather/ parameter update-interval and set it on desirably value. Then start omweather.

I like omweather. With one touch i can see the weather im my favourit towns for short holidays (Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern) The forecast is great and the matches accuracy is equal to commercial programs. My wish is a zoom function for the forecast because im near 50 and it's a hard to read even with glasses

I really like the program, I only have one gripe. It seems more often than not I only see the high/low stat for todays weather instead of the current temperature. This is basically useless to me. I figure it must be due to me not having a constant data connection (wifi only) but still I am at my home or work wifi 95% of the time and the phone auto connects to those networks and still I almost never get to see the current temperature. Is there a way for me to fix this on my side or is it a bug in the application? Updating manually works but then I lose half the point of a widget I could just use a bookmark to a weather site.

Can you make it so that the widget can update the weather in minutes and not hour?

Especially the little icon omweather app, i have to manually updated myself. I don't think it use up a lot of battery if i want to update it every 5mins.

Real good widget, nice design, although it takes too much screen real estate. I wish it was smaller.

I don't know what happened...the app shortcut that normally load up a SINGLE screen with today's weather is not loading. The 5days forecast is fine. Did the new update screwed up something?

Great app, couldn't ask for better. Could only ask for developers to put apps of this usefulness and stability.

Ok. I understand your request. Now fonts for presets is hardcoded in code. I will think about including it in configuration. You can switch to legacy mode using parameter 'mode' in gconf.(unload omweather and set to '1' this parameter) And try to tune external view of OMWeather.

Works well, no problems there.

However, why use Sans? It doesn't look as good as Nokia Sans and I can't even set the GConf key to change it like I could do for Maemo due to "Sans" now being hardcoded in the applet's library file itself.

Its very nice and the support for icon sets is a nice addition. However, I am not sure I like how its not possible to NOT remove the GPS location. Its still there even though I only have one locations set.

It seems OMWeather doesn't work if you are behind a network proxy. I have set-up a system-wide proxy but i cant get OM-weather update. Is there anything am doing wrong or this application does not work with network proxy?

Really nice, It lets you choose different variations on the Widget. Only gripe is it seems to only let you choose 4 cities...but still pretty awesome!

Great app, the graphic interface is very customisable and it makes my desktop cool and colorful!

just perfect. i love it! what is very nice is the GPS function, so it switches between areas when you do.

Love it, keeps me informed of what weather I might expect when I arrive at my destination.
