Macuco is a lightweight specialized browser to google web apps. It was primarily developed to be a Gmail client, but you can use other google products with it too.
Currently, Gmail, Google Reader, Orkut, Google News and Google Docs (read-only) are reported to work well on Macuco.

Very nice app. You can also use it for the mobile-version of other websites.
Larry, do you have extras-devel enabled? You can fix it by removing those packages and trying installing again. It will remove other Qt applications, but you can reinstall them after the dependencies problem is solved.
Unable to install on Diablo N800 Conflicts with: libqt-4-qt3support(4.5.0-1maemo1) libqt-4-sql-sqlite(4.5.0-1maemo1) libqt-4-sql(4.5.0-1maemo1) libqt-4-svg(4.5.0-1maemo1) It bombed here, too....
I'm trying to compile it to Fremantle, but I'm having some weird compilation errors with Qt.. I'm not sure why..
About labeling, archiving, etc, yes, there is a quick access menu to these features. I'll post another screenshot later
Hi Paulo, can I request a fremantle port, too?
And another question: it isn't clear to me from the screenshots if/how it supports easy access to (re-)labeling, archiving and deleting messages. Does it? Does it easily, without having to go through lots of clicking around?
Thanks
On n800 i could not install since it says some conflicts are happenning. maybe is because i have extras-devel on and already installed a lot of 3rd party softs. i ll try it later againg.
Hi Pawel, in what language is you Gmail? The older version of Gmail had this bug on Macuco, can you try setting your language to english and report if the bug continues?
Hi Andrew, I couldn't use latitude here, the scrolling doesn't work. And about the scrolling you are familiar with kinetic scrolling right? I couldn't understand the problem
Thanks
On my n800 after few seconds from start the screen gets minimized (stretched horizontally like Google tries to fit it to the width of a cellphone). Is it a bug ?

This looks great. Translate and Latitude worked, in addition to the other apps listed.
One odd thing, the scroll bar seems to move the opposite way to normal.
Thanks, It's kind of simple to port it to Maemo5, just a recompile with Fremantle SDK. I'll put the Maemo5 port in my ToDo list :)
By the way, is this the proper place to me answering questions? I don't feel comfortable by rating my own app..

This is a very interesting application since Gmail website is quite unusable even with Maemo 5 browser and N900. Do you think you're going to port this to N900 too?
