Irssi is a terminal based IRC client for UNIX systems.
This is still the best Chat-Client around.
Still my favorite irc client. Also on the Nokia 770.
You can compile and package your own through scratchbox, but there is a deb for arm(el) already at http://www.komputika.net/maemo/ but from my experience, this package was not compiled with the script command!
