Powerful app and very stable, perfect solution for your pop3 or imap accounts.
However in my opinnion if you want to use with your google, yahoo accounts.. then maemo Mail is the best choice.
Thanks!!! Works like a charm with my large 76GB IMAP account. Installed the version from the repository to keep my claws mail up-to-date. (compiled it myself in my scratchbox before).
I don't think it has too many features ... i use many of them :-)
very good mail client, stable and essential for me. thank you for that!
pls somebody help me. i could't use with the hotmail account how could be?
The best mail client at this point.
There is no way to choke it. I have my work mail (>10,000 mails in >100 folders+subfolders), gmail, 2x hotmail accounts configured and never had an issue.
It runs always in the background and have it also configured to check for mails every 10sec. If the router has power-saving-mode (PSM), the battery lasts more than 5 hours.
THE mail client on NITs. If you find the built-in one too limiting and don't mind using the stylus, this is the app to use.
I like it very much and use it every day. Nice features and stable.
The user interface is too confusing and really needs a lot of work to be considered tablet-ready.
It works - but navigating around is fairly hellish.
Honestly almost too feature-rich to be used as every-day-client on the tablet. it needs to be installed though for all the situations when modest simply fails to display a mail. (as it usually does with multipart messages.) cool, fully hildonized interface that shows how great a desktop application works on the maemo platform when everything's done properly.
In my dreams it would be a bit faster - but considering the hundreds of megs of IMAP it handles for me, I'm happy. Everything I want in a desktop client is now in my pocket!
This is about as good as it gets when it comes to email clients -- and, its development is far from complete. Keep up the good work Claws-Mail!
