DateToday Home Desktop Widget v0.2

Great widget. been using it for months now. Would it be possible to put a three letter month name in white font at the top of the calendar in the red stripe, and three letter day name at the bottom below the date? That way it would have all the important date data in the widget the size of a standard icon.

A really nice widget required for everone. The only thing I miss from this is different date orientations, different countries use it differently, like year - month - day, etc. ;)

I liked the look. It standsout among standard app icons. Nice work.

Funny, many other users (including me!) found the old icon ugly. And the prior version doesn't use a icon image but painted the icon on its own. So it was impossible to change the icon.

I can try to recreate icon images from the prior version and send you instructions on how to change the icons. Please use the "report a bug" link, so I know you mail address.

Just installed the latest update (0.1-7.5) and while it's working as it should be I can't say I agree with the change in appearance. The previous desktop icon matched the rest of the default icons perfectly (e.g. phone, addressbook, email, conversation, photos, media player, web, etc etc), while this new icon looks really out of place. I'd appreciate a way to change it back to what it used to look like, thank you.

I've placed it just above the date of the stock calendar widget (upper left corner), so that when I tap the stock widget I get the day-by-day agenda, and when I tap the date "sheet" I get the month view. And it's cute :)

Great! (but it is still oversized after each reboot. open-save widget's prefs helps till next reboot)

That widget is such an good idea. I guess whos idea that was. Noclolai thanks for making the widget. Such small improvments are what the N900 is still missing, because a lot of small improvments make a big difference :-)
