Simple Wake On Lan application

Don't like having your media servers running all the time but don't want to go press the switch button when you need them? This simple application will broadcast magic packets to the local network and wake up computers that support this feature. The computer to wake up is identified by the network adapter MAC address. You can use the IP address or the host name of a powered on computer to find out its MAC address.

yep its awesome, ive got my pc upstairs and now i dont have to run up and down to turn it on and wait for pc to bootup

This has to be for me the most welcome application yet.

To work on my son's pc I had to run up stairs and push the button, run back and start my vlc viwer. Not anymore.

After screwing our media center cupboard door shut to stop my daughters constant button pushing (18 month old nightmare button pusher)I can now simply push my own button to wake it with this wonderful app.

It works flawlessly, makes my life simpler and allways brings a smile to my face when I use it :)

The one star vote by the way was an accidental vote by myself after I signed-up for this site, I'm happy to see now that I can leave a comment and vote again.
