usbcontrol gives you easy to use access to the powerful host mode of the n810 and n800. Run usbcontrol, switch to host mode and attach any keyboard or usb drive to your device. Keyboards don't need extra power, usb drives usually do.

excellent work, a cheap £5 flexible usb keyboard broadens the useability of the device on longer session of email, cli and note taking. Thanks very much.
How can I connect a USB keyboard to my N800? If you plug in a generic adaptor to make the keyboard's USB plug fit, does it work? Please advise...
Great tool. The only problem I've had is an error message when I connect a keyboard (standard Logitech UltraX Media), something about it being unable to connect to storage device because of missing file system. And every time I connect the keyboard I have to go into Control Panel -> Bluetooth keyboard to get the norwegian layout.

Do we need any special device to conenct it to usb?
