Theremin is a musical instrument which allows controlling sound pitch and volume continuously. This application is an analogue of real theremin, it plays sound of different pitch and volume depending on what screen area you tap and allows changing pitch and volume continuously. The application also has piano-like keyboard mode.

- Theremin instrument voice added

I wish that I could go back and edit past entries.
Anyway, glad to hear you'd already fixed my issue. The new release works great for me now! thanks for the quick resolution on this! :)
Hi Chris,
adding piano instrument is planned for one of the next releases. It is not too easy to do piano but I'm thinking on it. For now, you can use 'Plucked String' instrument, it is most similar to piano of what is currently available.
Thanks for playing, I can hear you via 'Listen others' feature :-)
Great application, been using it since first release, but the introduction of the keyboard layout, as a keyboard player, makes playing much better.
Would be nice to have a piano instrument to use with the keyboard layout.

Thanks for feedback! The black screen issue with LCARS theme is already fixed and will be available in version 1.5.
This application assumes a white background. When you use a theme with a black background (such as LCARS), all you can see is the red octave number. An option to change the colors of the lines and text, or just toggle it between black or white, would help immensely here. Otherwise, spiffy app! Thanks!
It would be nice to be able to choose a sample as instrument (and ideally not limited to sample files, random stuff from /usr/bin can sound pretty interesting as well ;)
And for the N900 the movement of the device could be used to control a parameter as well.
I'm rating this on the idea alone, but I will certainly download it later. If it doesn't already save to MIDI files, that would be a very useful feature.
What can I say - excellent application. Especially helpful if you're having a fever and you can't sleep... :]
2labaudio: Do you mean different instrument voices? Do you have any suggestion, what instrument you would like to have? I could consider implementing it.
Note that N810 processor performance also limits implementation of complex physical models of instruments...
how many instrument can you implement??
