Hello Troy, Thanks for the response. I upgraded but the about still reports 0.92.10. Should the -1 be seen?

Thanks again for the response and the application.

Sean, while I cannot duplicate your bug, it is theoretically possible it is related to one of the bugs fixed in 0.92.10-1. Please update and see if the problem persists. Please direct any follow-up on this to the forum at http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=451969 - the application comments are not an ideal place to discuss bugs.

The latest zoom level that you added was an excellent addition.

I have noticed, at least for myself, with the latest update that whenever an alarm pops up that the rest of my desktop applets I have added are gone. I am back to a default desktop, except for my background.

I have the Seqretary applet, as well as OMWeather, some task bar add-ons, and personal menus. These all vanish after a Seqretary alarm pop-up occurs.

Eric: 0.92.8 should address your issue. The problem arose because the time zone information database uses the rules for Chicago in for all of CST in the US. In 1936 Chicago (it seems at least in part for corrupt reasons) changed its time zone from CST to EST, then back to CST. This means that for Chicago there are 2 offsets between standard time and UTC. What's more, the last one in the list in the file is EST (which technically makes sense). As a result my assumption that the last time zone of a particular type (standard vs daylight) would be the best one to pick was wrong).

The use of Chicago to represent all of CST is also obviously wrong, as this was a glitch that was local to Chicago, but that is a problem for somebody else to take up with the maintainers of that database.

Does anyone else have a problem where items are displayed 1 hr. earlier than set? In the edit the events are entered at the correct time, but SOME of events are shown an hour earlier than scheduled in the day, and week display. thoughs?

Nice to see a recent update. Stumbled across a very annoying problem. I created some reminders in the program that I only assigned a few minutes, since Seqretary does not allow no times assigned. Since I only assigned about five minutes to these events they only appear as thin black lines when viewed up close, so it is near impossible to edit these entries.

Hopefully I am doing something wrong and they can be reached somehow, but now I have several entries that I have been unable to open and edit.

Here are my 2 cents: 1. I think Seqretary must sync or at least import events from another calendar (google cal preferred :) ) 2. I think that if the author posts an API to create, delete and modify events, the community will quickly come up with these upgrades. Is 1 or 2 possible in the short term? Thanks for a great product!

OSSO-BACKUP DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY BACK UP YOUR SCHEDULE!!! This is a lovely program otherwise, but if you use it, do tar -c ~/.seqretary -zvvf /media/mmc1/backups/seqretary.tgz (or something similar) as part of your usual backup. I learned this the hard way. :(

On your desktop applet have you considered adding the date, and possibly the time to the day headers?

Example, where it states "Today, Tomorrow, Monday, whichever" you have the date next to it, and if room, the time?

This would easily show the date that a listed appointment is to be attended.

When entering an event, it would be nice after you enter a starting date or time, that the ending date and time is at least equal to the start. Or perhaps a configurable option to state all new events have some default length of time.

This would speed up the entry of an event.

Thanks for your excellent application.
