A cross-platform application for managing simple databases. Supports a variety of column types, even including calculations and images. Files can be encrypted, and data can be imported from CSV, MobileDB, and XML files. Works well for lists of possessions, shopping lists, todo lists, financial tracking, password management, and more.

This is exactly what I was looking for: A small, easy to use personal database application. No need for a too big spreadsheet application with too much features that I'll never ever use. And with the export feature one has still all the options open if needed.
I knew portabase from the zaurus and I loved it. Having portabase on the n810 finally turned it into something useful (given the lack of relevant PIM applications).
Now I have kopi and portabase running on the n810 and the only thing I miss about my zaurus is the excellent keyboard. But on the n810 I have wifi, bluetooth and GPS and a better display.
