MediaBox Media Center was built to handle large collections of media and lets you browse and play your music and videos and show your photos either from your memory cards, or remotely over the network via UPnP/DLNA. More features are available as plugins.

I love this player. To my eyes and fingers Canola2 is over-designed--pretty, but not as useable as MediBox is. While I also wish that MediaBox has a random/shuffle function, I am otherwise completely happy with the way it works.

Hi Martin,

Thank you for improving MediaBox 0.94! The “Support for the button on the headset (pause/play)” idea is great! I like these detailed functions. I am looking forward to further improvements for my default media player!

PS: I was surprised how well and fast MediaBox runs on Hacker Edition for 770! Can't wait until you add video support for 770 as well!

A decent start on a media centre. I don't get any cover art for my album though, and there's no obvious UI to choose shuffle-playing my entire music collection, which is the mode I want most of the time.
