HomeIP is a small widget which display your current IP on your desktop.

Update : The python binding package is available in the extras-devel repository. I can't create a repository as i don't have tool to do it. And i can't upload to extras due to the extrem difficulty to do it from a tablet.

Nice applet, but it doesn't display the IP when I'm connected through bluetooth-dun, otherwise cool.

At this time, it use the official python2.5-hildondesktop binding in extras-devel, and is available in extras-devel ...

Could somebody please guide me how to install or update my repository, I am quite new to this device/OS. would be great if guide me step by step.

You don't need any special tools to create a repository, just dpkg-scanpackages is enough. Look for "debian repository howto" in Google.

And yes, the package requires python-hildondesktop, which is NOT present in extras, but python2.5-hildondesktop is.

Pretty thing, thanks!

It may be a good idea to combine all your Home* applets into one bundle. Just to have all this fuctionality in one place.

There is no python-hildondesktop in extras-devel. There is python2.5-hildondesktop though.

Awesome applet! :) Thanks!

python-hildondesktop is required (but missing). I'd say you need to create a deb repository and put all the required packages there, this way .install should work fine and resolve all the dependencies. Btw, python-hildondesktop doesn't install because of wrong section name : "Section: usr/misc". It must be "user/something" AFAIK.
