this tool does what it was developed for. it's nice to have it on the go. like it, thanks :)
This is very simple and efficient. Editing those tags is imperative when you download those mp3's from the internet.
Beware that the daemon which updates the media list (metalayer-crawler) on the Internet Tablets might in some cases drain all the cpu resources - it can be safely deactivated by renaming it. Then, when you add new files you can invoke it in a terminal with the -F switch which makes it run in foreground (i.e. not as a daemon) and stop it when needed with crtl-C.
tag tool is nice and functional. could be (more) hildonized, though.
The author of Audio Tag Tool is Pedro Lopes (see Homepage), I've just adapted the sources and did the packaging for Maemo. The .deb package is available from the official download pages (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=122539) as well as from my own maemo repository (http://www.mollux.org/maemo/) which also include a .install file.
