sid player for maemo platform

msid plays .sid files using libsidplay for input and PULSE, ALSA or ESD as output. msid fetches sid files from the net and can display screenshots of most of the game sids.

TE Kaitsu, thanks for the feedback. MSID is a bit silly that way, the reasoning is to help user finding sids, not having to download whole HVSC and in general not make him go downloading them by himself using a browser. You can copy your own files to sdcard (internal/external) to 'sidmusic' directory though and these should appear in the playlist.

Either the option to load and play a .sid file of your choosing from your device's memory is too well hidden, or it doesn't exist. Option to download them from the net is nifty, but it can't possibly be the only - or even the primary - option. That would be just silly.

Great! One of my favorite applications for the N900. Works like a charm. Is it possible to cache (save) the downloaded screenshots?

Brilliant! Well done! Having the screenshots of the game shown during play is a nice touch. Played my .sid library perfectly! Nice "READY" prompt at the bottom too! Thanks! :)
