Works like a charm. Thanks :-)
You can find the user/password setting for the scrobbler in your n900 settings. You do not have to open any program for your songs to get scrobbled. It works in the background.
I think this is one brilliant app! You just made my day!
Guys, it is a scrobbler. It works in the background by sending to last.fm the metadata of the songs that you listen to. Since it works in the background you won't see it anywhere.

can someone please explain where to open and use this. please.
sorry..but.. how can i use it?? 1. step - set username &PW in settings. done 2. step - reboot done 3. step ?? can i use the default n900 mediaplayer? i cant find any option in there..
@Ian: Yeah, just tried going from offline to online, and that works fine. Would be great to have the tracks saved through a reboot as well! Anyways, great application!
how are you supposed to open it i see it in the settings but can't find it anywhere else.
Ketil: closing the media player won't lose your as-yet-unscrobled tracks, but turning of your N900 will.
Works nicely. If like me you installed it and are wondering where the settings for this are, just go to your N900 Settings after installing, and you will find it at the bottom of the screen under "Extras" called "Last.fm settings"
This is now working pretty good, but it seems a bit too "invisible" to me. Some sort of manual "scrobble the latest played tracks" feature would be nice. Add to that how many tracks are waiting for a connection before they are scrobbled.
I have a feeling that if I shut down the media player when offline, my offline tracks are not scrobbled when I again start playing tracks online. Is this correct? I have not been able to really test this.
Does what it say on the tin, and make me slightly less unhappy with the N900 media player. Great work!
Works great. Thanks a lot to author!
