where does this program store the recorded tracks? can tracks be exported to gpx format? thanks, stephan

I have a problem with the mappero program when routing a message saying it"invalid source or destianation" please help me thank you

I'm having a huge problem with the program, it does not want to stay on my country. I drag the map to my country (on south america) and a couple of clicks later it goes back to europe. Is this program in usable stage?

Is there any way not to use internet connection for this navigation? Is there any way to install the maps?

Great app. Only thing it misses is voice navigation in other language. Is there english version available?

does anyone know why mappero seg faults with ssh X forwarding? I'd like to run mappero on my N900 but have its window on my PC's display.

One of the programs I do use most often...

One thing is annoying: you're not able to specify kind of an 'offset' for the maps displayed, that way you could scale the maps especially regarding street names, which are waayyyy too small to be read with normal eyes...

Or is there a way to zoom in that I am not aware of? Please, give me a hint... if there is, five stars but for now only four ;-)

Quite good. Including voices for direction would make it a perfect tool even for driving alone...

Great tool, though font-size does not seem to be applicable for the maps street names which are to tiny to be read during driving. beside that - 5 stars

This is very handy application. Reittiopas navigation is my favourite and I have an idea how to to improve it. Reittiopas can handle only navigation in Helsinki area. We have also matka.fi service which is also developed by wmdata and uses similar api than reittiopas. It would be great if someone ask api keys for matka.fi api server and implements Maemo Mapper navigation to handle whole Finland.

Unable to install "Mappero". Conflicting application packages.

Details : Conflict with application packages: gstreamer0.10-mkv (0.10.16-0maemo5)

Just needs different languages, otherwise very impressive!

Since the integration of Reittiopas routing this is my favourite application on the N900

I find this application way better than the in built ovi maps.. In india it actually told me to turn left and right after a particular shop/ landmark..

Does any one know how to get the english voice guided navigation.. cheers to the creator

Really great app. Navigation worked perfectly for me, test run in the Stockholm area. Had one or two crashes, and also didnt understand the spoken nav assistance (italian?), but all in all more than satisfied. Thank you!

just downloaded mapper and it looked promising. everything else seems to work fine except the navigation. everytime i try to set a destination it crashes to the desktop... waiting for the next version.

Great addition to the N900 and a massive improvement over Ovi Maps. Loads quicker, GPS works properly and runs a lot better with far better quality maps and better options. 5*

Great application. Has a real professional feel to it. Since it can work offline with once downloaded maps and can read gpx tracks, it will be excellent for hiking, too.

I love this application especially since ovi maps are not very usable in my region.

Has grown into a great application for the N900. Obviously better than ovi maps.

Needs turn-by-turn voice navigation support to complete it.

I'd love to see integration with everytrail.com (or something similar). They appear to only require an upload of a gpx file for basic tracking. Adding of photos and videos would be neat, but that might be a fork for a different app all together.

Just got a n900. Not very impressed by OVI maps.

Installed mapper imported my providers wifi hot spot gpx file and set off.

n900 + Skype + mapper + hotspots GPX, just the right combination. Everything works well, very impressed.

Superb. And unlike the default map app, it can actually work with the N900's GPS properly.
