I might be blind, but where and how does it show the CPU load and memory usage? I can not even see it on the picture nor on my N900. Who knows another CPU load tool for the status bar?

Very nice app. Worked fine on my N900. One star missing because screencast has low fps on my phone; One frame for every 3 seconds.

How does it make sense to me to combine this two different kind of functionality into a single app and call it after just one of them?? ^^

The only reason I can imagine is that only an applet can add menu entries to the status area. Is this the case? Even if so, the name is still not a very good pick.

You can take a screen shot by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+P on your keyboard. Must have latest firmware installed. No need for this app.

i'm used to have a system monitoring applet in my ubuntu gnome panel so this was one of the programs i had to have on my linux-phone - simply 5 stars!

Excellent. For those of you who are confused about this application: Screencast is the ability to record the screen of your device and then play it back as a video.

I prefer the version without the sscreenshot/screencast possibility but this works great too.

Really good app. The memory and CPU load indicators are great by themselves and the ability to take screen caps just raised the app even higher on the must-have list.

This application only gives you bars. there is another one that actually gives the percentage of usage for the mem and cpu.
Also I've noticed that it made my N900 much slower.

Excellent widget - took me a few minutes to spot the bars next to the battery! Big help when Modest was running at 95%.

It's nice to know if the n900 feels slow because it's doing something on the background. Or if it's doing something in the background all the time even though it should be idle.

This was absolute necessity with N800/N810 to see that somethings is actually happening. Still, it is nice for N900 too, even though not that necessary anymore. Good for seeing when some program has leaked that much memory that it is boot time.

What is the square things that keep appearing and disappearing (on the right of Battery and below Wifi icon)?

I can't install this in my N900. Application manager only finds 0.8.2-3, which is wrong version.

I doesn't work for me. Videos and images are black. Which could be the problem?

fastest way to watch system activity from the desktop. I prefer the Ctrl+Shift+P keyboard shortcut for screenshots.

What is the "screencast taking"? Is it a taking video from screen?

I didn't find a way to disable it on end-user level.

As superuser you can edit /etc/hildon-desktop/status-menu.plugins

Is there a way to disable the applet without uninstalling it?
