Lens Cover Reminder v0.4

Bug?

After installing Lens Cover, my MODEM internet connection stopped working.

After getting my N900, I started installing many apps. A few days later, I noticed MODEM didn't work, but I thought it was a network operator issue. Later on I had to reinstall rootfs. MODEM started to work again. I carefully checked MODEM after installing each app, and after Lens Cover, MODEM stopped working. Uninstalling Lens Cover made MODEM to start working again.

To me, it doesn't make much sense.

Has anyone reported this?

Any word from the developer?

Btw, could you add an option to blink the flash and/or the red LEDs together with the other alarmoptions please?

I would forget the lens open every time without this :D great app!

I like! That was one of the things I was missing badly. Phone reminds you to take of the power cable but you could put it in your pocket with the lens open. Good job!

Neil, you need to go troll somewhere else. I saw this app and thought "Now THATS a good idea, why didn't I think of that".

Not installed it yet, right about to, but my only concern from the screenshot is the icon perhaps looks a bit too much like a memory card. But still, it will serve the purpose :)

A great addition and contrary to the abusive comments by Neil Sleeman, which you can't even class as constructive criticism, this isn't a useless application.

I've had plenty of moments where replacing my N900 into my holster or just my pocket has opened the lens cover. Or even if I just used the camera, closed the app but been too distracted close the shutter, It's nice to have a quick reminder that it's open and I don't risk putting the phone back in my pocket or down anywhere leaving the lens exposed.

Jesus christ. Any danger of anyone bringing out a decent app for this crappy phone. Here we have yet another 'hello world' type app, ie. useless.

What was the developer thinking when he came up with this idea:

"I know what we all need. An idea to tell use the lens cover is open"

OR - JUST FLIP THE PHONE OVER.

I can't wait for the next wireless network monitor app. We all desperatly need one of those.
