Pauses the media player when headphones are unplugged
The headphone daemon sits in the background and watches the connection state of headphones on the N800/N810 and N900. Whenever the headphones are unplugged, headphoned will send a "pause" signal to the mediaplayer to avoid "public transport situations".
Supported applications: Media Player, Panucci, MPlayer, FM Radio and MediaBox

Perfect work. I love this app. It makes my live easier. This should be included in the official OS.
I only miss a simple way to deactivate/activate.
Extremely useful even for in-car use with aux connection to the radio/amp!
The quiet achiever, great applet.
Very usefull, as Jan van't Land said, repluging the headphone should unpause, and it should be perfect
Works great. Would it be possible that the mediaplayer restarts automatically when the earphones are plugged in again? (instead of having to press the start-button on the mediaplayer)
Excellent application, very useful when traveling and need to stop briefly
Bien pensé et super pratique !
Perfect. This should be included in the official OS.
Very useful. Especially when you're listening to geeky podcasts in a non-geeky environment. :D
Compatibility with Mediabox would be nice.
Great app but it does not work when u unplug jack to answer incoming call and when you finish your talk music continues to play
Bluetooth headset support is added in headphoned 1.6, which will hit Extras-Testing soon (and then hopefully be promoted to Extras after that).
This is a great app, the N900 keeps on getting better and better as a media player.
Great app, too bad that it doesn't support bluetooth headset, hope to see that very soon.
Would it be possible to get it to also do the same for bluetooth headsets?
Every now and then i walk away from my phone with my headset and when the headset loses connection the loudspeakers goes on - my colleagues dont like that to much ;)

Are you considering a feature to resume when the headphones are plugged back? :) Btw, great stuff! *****
yeah , that is what i needed, n900 is great jukebox :)
Yeah. Little but useful apps. Keep up the good work dude:)
Brilliant idea :)
Simple little apps like these show what potential a community can do when they do not have restrictions like the iphone
