A podcast aggregator for the Nokia N900
gPodder is a podcast receiver/catcher with a specialized UI that has been optimized for Maemo 5 and the N900. Podcasts are like short radio shows that you can download from the Internet and subscribe to like blogs or news feeds.
gPodder supports both audio and video podcasts equally, and is said to be one of the most usable podcast clients available.
Different versions for several platforms and devices exist. This is the Maemo 5-optimized version of gPodder.

It's a cool application in its own right, but... what a joy when I discovered that I could use it in portrait mode. A lot more comfortable sometimes (not always ;) ...)
I agree it would be good to have a UI that reduces the need for taps... Waiting for more to come here, it's one of my classics on Maemo.
Great soft. Automatic downloads, portrait and it's perfect.
last update with using g-sensor and quick access to play is great! Tnx!
Works pretty nice, but i agree with Floriano. A few improvements could be made regarding the usability, but best tool for now i use it a lot!
great app for podgasts. works great
Very good feature set and design. Nice collection of sample podcasts. Some usability improvements are needed to reduce the number of taps, that's why in my opinion it is not a five-star application (yet).
I'm using gPodder before every flight to download latest podcasts (currently subscribed to Monocle Weekly and 37signals).
The only improvement that comes to mind immediately is automatic downloads that would happen on the background. That'd mean I would be able to remove "fetch podcasts" from my before-trip checklist.
the best linux desktop podcatcher on the N900. nice feature set. I like the Portai-mode support.
I am wondering if S60 podcast app's built-in list is available to external. That list is also very nice.
Works great for me. There are also samples podcast list so you can start really quickly.
