A podcast aggregator for the Nokia N900
gPodder is a podcast receiver/catcher with a specialized UI that has been optimized for Maemo 5 and the N900. Podcasts are like short radio shows that you can download from the Internet and subscribe to like blogs or news feeds.
gPodder supports both audio and video podcasts equally, and is said to be one of the most usable podcast clients available.
Different versions for several platforms and devices exist. This is the Maemo 5-optimized version of gPodder.

Are there plans to add network proxy support to gpodder? It currently does not respect the system wide proxy which i added to my wireless profile. And there is no way to tell it to connect through a proxy from the settings I filed a feature request here https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7241 Anyone affected should place vote for it
Works great!!.
Love this app, much better than the s60 alternative, Video casts though can be a problem, as they wont play unless you download them, although I think that's a bug in maemo that has been found in other places as well.
SImple ot use and does the job well
Brilliant application, one I use very often. Keeps improving with each update.
very nice application
Simply the best podcast tool - awesome!
Great for Podcasts... Vidiocasts, not so much. The "Search YouTube users" feature is superb and it is able to pull together current posted video by producers like Associated Press and Al Jazeera. This feature alone would make this the "go to" app for breaking news. Unfortunately, because of the limitations of media player as well as Mplayer, playing streams from the displayed links is a no go. Perhaps this problem could be solved by allowing a third party player like ZooTube the ability to handle these links. :)
Highly stable, handles simultaneously updating my podcasts (16) very well. One negative it slows down my 900 when I leave it up overnight.Just for the first one or two minutes, then it works fine.
Wow the wonderful world of podcast... heard about it but never tried it before... untill now... it's fantastic and now I'm hooked. Gpodder is fairly easy to use and is a good way to get and store Podcasts...
Never got into podcasts much before. I will now!
love it works fine for me
Great support and active development. Best podcast app I've ever used.
A must have for any commuter or frequent traveller!
It's a nice program. But it could be a bit better when it would be able to use Panucci as standard. For the rest I don't want the media player to index the podcasts but haven't been able to change the indexing properties of the media player (still a beginner with Linux). Good program though!
