@judibet - You should be able to play with an AZERTY keyboard - you just need to remap it as I mentioned in the post below. Simply click on Options in the first menu, then click Next 3 times. Read the instructions and click next again, and start remapping.

Bear in mind that I do not have an AZERTY keyboard, so I can not test. Maybe you could give me some more information as to why it does not work if the above doesn't work for you.

This game does not pause if it is put in the background or the screen blanks. To avoid running down the battery you should exit the game when you finish playing.

If you have a keyboard with only two arrow keys you will need to reconfigure it to play. Use the stylus to click options, then click next four times. Click on each key definition you wish to change and then press the button you want to assign. Then play!
