Car fuel consumption tracking tool
Fuelpad is a tool to record your car fuel and other expenses. It calculates many kinds of statistics for your data including the fuel consumption for each entry, the overall distance, average fuel consumption and total cost. It can track the expenses of several cars. It also has a reminder system for regular maintenance recording.

To Erkka: You can change the location, however there is no user interface for doing that. There is a reason why it isn't available and I don't recommend changing the location unless you really know what you are doing.
very nice and most usefull! I'd loce to see a way to change the databse location though: I keep my stuff syncronized elsewhere than /home/user. It would be nice to allow editing with a double click..hm..double tap. Also would be usefull to check the date and entered kilometers - I often find myself typing old gasoline purchases or repairs and always end up re-editing the row - as the date defaulted to this current date (check where the mileage fits in current db and whine about it)
it would be nice to be able to report services as well ;)
Anyway this it app to the right spot!!! Thanks a million!
To Mike: you already can choose units individually. Just check the select individually box and there will be new options to choose units. This will propably become the first question in the FAQ...
Nice app. Would it be possible to be able to have mixed units for us in the UK? So there could be SI, US and UK options?
We have distances in Miles, buy fuel in Litres and talk about consumption in Miles per Gallon (UK gallons =4.54609 litres not US Gallons = 3.785411784 litre) just to be really awkward ;0).
It is a little difficult to use Fuelpad here as we would either have to manually convert all mileages in to km or fuel between US/UK gallons and Litres which is a bit of a pain.
Thanks Mike 8-{>
Just wonderfully usefuel :-)
I used to keep these records in a spreadsheet, but this application is so much better.
Pretty useful utility
Very usefull app. Still I found a bug but I don't find any way to report it. I will explain in here: I have only two entries in my Fuelpad. If I try to tap the "Statistics" tab the app is closing. Why? What's the use of "Statistics" option anyway?
A little help from the autor will be welcomed! Thanks!
apart of things like already mentioned this is working and useful ;)
I have answered and commented some of your questions and comments in tmo Fuelpad for Fremantle thread:

realy nice app!
suggestion trip: i find it better if you put in km that the app calc the trip?
suggestion stop with small fuel: sometimes i fuel my car for 10 l and forgott to write down the km. so if the app see the date and no km it can be calc it with the next rec of km?
THX for the realy god app
Awesome, really useful app. Never used anything similar before, it's a nice discover for me.
Great app! But I'm not sure the database would prefer to meet in /home/user/MyDocs/database.db
Wonderful application, and does just what I needed. I'm a bit thick-headed, so it took me quite a while to figure out that it really could do miles/gallon (I live in USA). Once I came across the spot in Settings to change Unit system from SI to US, everything was golden. Many thanks for taking the time to create and support such a great application!
Great app! I'm so glad you brought this to the N900, thank you!
Suggestion: add more service columns/fields, or even better, let the user customize columns, or even even better, download custom schedules for their automobile! That would absolutely rock.
Suggestion: tie into GPS, let N900 take a GPS marker of the location of the fill-up and service as part of the entry, could even probably find the data online about the gas station.
Suggestion: Bit of a stretch, but how about tying into camera, let user take a picture of gas pump (petrol pump i mean!) and detect/extract the amount of petrol pumped, price/liter, total cost, etc...
Excellent and stable application.
Have been using it for a couple of years already in my N800. The Maemo 5 version looks fantastic.
Thanks for sharing.
