Free Heroes 2

Free implementation of Heroes of the Might and Magic II engine. You will need the map and data files from the original game to play. Copy origin DATA/.agg to /opt/fheroes2/data directory. Copy maps files (.mp2) to /opt/fheroes2/maps directory. You can also download the Free Heroes 2 demodata package to try it out.

The map and data files go in /opt/fheroes2/files/maps/ and /opt/fheroes2/files/data/

Sorry for being novis regarding putting files on N900 for games - Where should the map and data files be stored?

You need to place the music files into /opt/fheroes2/files/music/

I am not able to hear any music. I have OGG music archive and extracted all ogg files in the /opt/fheroes2/music/ directory and changed the cfg file to have: music = ext. It still doesn't work... Can I at least listen the midi version of the music and how?

Awesome, exactly like the good old classis. Not so good on the eyes i guess, because the screen is so small. but no problems whatsoever to play it, access all icons and so on. Cost me half a sunday playing the demo level :)
