Calendar Home Widget
Opens the calendar application with different views (agenda, week, month). Can change dynamically the widget size or stay at fixed sizes. And you can select which calendar entries (colour) to show and a time period. Shows events and/or tasks.

very handy and nice appearance app for n900. thanks.
very handy and nice appearance app for n900. thanks.
much better than the default widget. it's an essential part of my desktop now ;) thanks a lot!
Great work. It replaced the standard app for me and has a better feature set.
Personally I prefer original's calendar coloring where the colored box is narrow, but I can live with that.
Apart from that: Thanks thanks thanks! It's like you've read my mind! Especially regarding the option to open the calender in month view!
Thank you for such an Excellent application. I use hermes for updating birthday info to be incorporated in my contacts and this application brilliantly displays all birthdays along with age of the person (Awesome!) But it displays both first and last name in the calender. Is it possible to display only first name? So calender would show age with the name :) Thanks again :)
Excellent App, Keeps Look and improves stock calendar widget!
5 stars and that says it all.
It's 1'000 times better than the default Calendar widget and fully customizable. The idea of having multiple istances of the widget is really smart.
Excellent widget, clearly wins the regular Calendar widget. Just a few things though that bug me and those the built-in calendars. You can see from the Settings, that calticalendarprivate and caltismartbirthdays are not localized correctly but that's about it. Translations all in all would be very welcome, by the way. ;)
Not sure what the difference between size and lines options are, but better than the default widget.
Adding tasks basically completed the essential feature-set for me. This should become the default calendar widget for Maemo5 in my opinion. Thank you Nikolai, very well done!
Great app. Would it be possible to add a anniversary function for stuff like national holiday for instance Day of the Republic and Christmass? Basically just a calendar or an option to add a whole day long event that would repeat itself forever. And another thing the repeat function could it be made to repeat on two week intervals?
Very useful, I agree wit other comments here, it is better than the standard app. Just to be able to choose how many lines to show, is a great improvement.
This is by far the most app I use on my phone. Surprisingly even more than the phone app :). Kudos to you nicolai for the excellent idea and the continued support for improving this widget.
Hi Royden,
I like the way it is now. Because you can add multiple widget with different visible calendars. For example one widget which shows only birthdays and another for all other events.
Btw, the next version will include tasks as well.
Hi Nicolai,
Thanks for this app. I use this app extensively and I have a feature request. As far as visible calendars go, it would be nice if you can link visible calendars in the widget to the visible calendars in the calendar application. When I turn off certain calendars, I need to do it in 2 places 1) The main calendar application and 2) this widget.
Cheers!!

Excellent work.
mhmm...why are there no still open tasks ?
Very nice application.
What would make it 5 star for me would be the inclusion of up-coming tasks (that also appear in the main calendar), and what would then be very useful is the option to also display uncompleted overdue tasks so that they don't disappear when their date has passed until you have done them!
Thanks.
Very useful app. More than the standard calendar widget. I have not found any bug. Bravo!
