Very helpful tool monitoring battery usage. Gives a nice reference point after a few days of usage allowing you to identify whether any recent changes to your device (app installations, uninstall etc.) has caused a change in battery usage. Thank you!!!
Nice app, 5 stars.
-nice little app. I believe the current display is correct. milliamp hours is how they rate batteries. The N900 (BL-5J) is a 3.7V, 1320mAh battery which means that it can provide 1320mA at 3.7 volts for one hour. The N900 does not draw anywhere near that amount of current per hour with normal use. It's probably closer to 100mA on average, meaning that you could run for 13.2 hours (100mA * 13.2hours = 1320mAh) The display shows the mAh remaining. In the picture, it shows that there is still 1021mAh remaining which is possible. This number should always be below the 1320mAh battery spec. The 4V seems a little high but the battery voltage spec could be 3.7V +-10%.
Haven't tried the app, but just looking at the screenshots I can see one problem: mAh (milliamp-hours) is a measure of charge, not current. Does the app report current (with the wrong units) or charge (with the wrong label)?
My guess it charge, because 1024 mA is a lot of current for a phone (battery would be dead in under two hours).
very useful...thanx...
Superb. Very handy little app.
