Quick Launch is a status-bar applet to quickly launch apps.

It displays four button on the statusbar menu each of which can be configured through a control-panel applet.

Both this and Camera Lens Launcher have the problem that their menus take up too much physical space on the screen. This would benefit from a "mini UI" mode where the only thing that pops up are the icons of the configured apps, no empty space around them.
