SeriesFinale is a TV series browser and tracker application

Its goal is to help you manage the TV shows you watch regularly and keep track of the episodes you have seen so far. The shows and episodes can be retrieved automatically by using the “TheTVDB API” to help you get to the "series finale" with the least effort.

Just great, does almost everything needed. An additional feature should be the possibility to remove some seasons (because The Simpsons have more than 20)

@Sascha, I am working on having the option to ignore special seasons.

Great app. One of my favourites on maemo. 2 Suggestions: - Would it be possible to "hide" complete seasons from the main menu. I have a few Series which show me more seasons than actually aired, because the "special" seasons count as well. Would be great to permanently hide them, so that they are not counted. - Would be great to add airing dates to the N900 calendar.

I love this app and it's surely keeping note of my show addiction but lately I noticed that the show database isn't updated with the latest info. I have several ones that are weeks behind with episodes.

That's it. Keep up the good work!

Nice and useful application, though I find it a little unstable. Sometimes, when adding a new TV series, the newly added show or even some of the existing ones, lose the thumbnail and the summary in the main page.

Nice app. Would be good if you could remove whole seasons at a time, but good none the less. Have to see if this replaces TV Countdown and similar site. Works well though

Thanks for the very useful aplication, it's nice to see more coders from Portugal ;)

A sugestion that might be tricky: An option to integrate with the calendar having some kind of reminder when the series will air, optional ofc...

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for this great application! This is quickly becoming indispensable.

The only thing I really miss is the possibility to re-arrange the different seasons of a show in order to have the latest season at the top of the list.

I really love this app. The only thing that drives me crazy is one little bug:

When you close the program and immediatly reopen it non of the shows are saved. Possible Explanation: It appears that the program saves the infos about the shows AFTER it has been shut down. Then when you immediatly reopen it the saving is somehow canceld.

Is anyone else experiencing this behaviour?

Thanks for the great app!

I know you already get a lot of suggestions but it would be great to have an alarm function to remind new episodes airing!

Great app. I am just wondering wether it would be possible to implement an option to see series which have unfinished seasons...

Was going to leave a thank you note for this app, when i noticed its developer is from my own country, hehe. So...um muito obrigado pela aplicação. ;-)

Anyway, it is of great use for easy following of my favourite series. No more "did i miss an episode?" or "when will it be aired again?" stuff.

Very cool app! All my watched series right in my pocket!

Are there chances selecting non-english data? Would be very cool having local data available and not only english data. ;) Some german series is available and shown up in german, but american series like Monk, House (MD) or Private Practice only show up in english even there are localized data in the tvdb.

Great application. Using it every day. Thank you for making my life easier. I don't have to search the web for the date of the next episode it's all in one place now.

I watch many series. It would be nice if there would be a screen listing episodes in the next couple of days ordered by date. Or better yet, maybe an option to change the sorting order in the series list. It could be sorted by date of the next not-watched episode. This way user won't see series that will have a pause, but they'll see the series that are running, without need to scroll around.

Can the update script be run by cron? I would like to run it every day.

Hi Mladen, thanks for the kind words about SF.

I'm not sure about listing episodes by the next air dates because they already get listed this way using reversed alphabetical order, also, the ones who have been aired will have a different color.

About the cron script, it would require the device to be connected to the internet at the moment the cron runs. Because of this I have doubts about the usefulness of such a functionality but we can discuss about it.
