evopedia v0.4.3-maemo2

I downloaded the archive manually as downloading it from my phone hangs it.

Now i have the 700MB file which has the follow math.dat math.idx metadata.txt titles.idx wikipedia_00.dat wikipedia_01.dat

inside a directory called wikipedia_enwiktionary_2012-03-11

Now how to proceed ? when i copy the contents into the archives directory of my application it still asks me to download an archive ! !

It's fantastic! But I think it's necessary we update our archive not downloading them from the scratch.

There should be a button next to the search bar, where you can switch the language. Furthermore, when you view an article in the browser, there is also such a button at the top right (you will be redirected to the online version if you choose a languages that is not installed).

Very nice indeed. There's only one thing I havn't figured out: I've put two archives on my N900 (Dutch and English). But I only can seem to use the English Wikipedia. Is it possible to switch between two archives? Or use both of them at the same time? Thanks!

I love this app especially on holidays! Only after the last update it's not working anymore: the pages aren't loading. I tried reloading, and uninstalling and reinstalling the evopedia. Can someone help me?

Its an excellent and very useful app. but after transferring the dump it takes along time to assess it...... Is the case same for all or is it an issue with my device.

The dump process was halted because Wikipedia had some problems exporting their databases. The Greek dump is ready. Have fun!

Nice app! The dump procedure seems to be halted though [1], it's already more than a month since last activity. I would like to see greek wikipedia in the dump list and I can offer a machine to do it.

For some quick suggestions:

If the browser does not correctly load the webpage after starting evopedia, please try to reload the page.

For the 8GB question: If you are referring to the limitation of the filesystem not being able to handle such big files: Please store the archive on a computer, extract it there and then copy the individual files over to the device, as they are much smaller.

How can i copy 8 gb file for evopedia on my n900 ?

@godwin kanda The same problem occured on my phone too. I could somehow by-pass this problem by starting the native browser first and then evopedia.

Evopedia won't open after installation. Had to uninstall.
