As previously noted, it would be much more useful if it would support other time representations. I can offer/advertise for a time management class that I wrote in c++ that you can find at https://slfsmm.indefero.net/p/meteoio/source/tree/HEAD/trunk/meteoio/Date.cc (this is LGPL v3). You could recycle the Julian date conversion as well as the offset to Julian for Unix/Excel/MJD.

This is a nice, clean app that performs a useful function. Looking at the screen shot, I had worried that the app was German language only, but that's not the case. Could conversion to and from Julian date be added in some future release?
