Maemo Mapper is geographical mapping visualization software specifically designed for the Maemo platform and the Nokia 770/N800/N810 form factor. It uses raster maps downloaded from the internet from various online repositories (such as OpenStreetMap). It supports tracking, routing, POI, and other features found in personal navigation devices.

RoadMap for Maemo is a vector mapping application for the n800/n810. It can use maps compiled from U.S. Census Bureau Tiger Data, ESRI shapefiles or openstreetmap.org binary protocol map data. It can also import/export route data in GPX format for use by other apps like Maemo-Mapper. Roadmap features include- 2D/3D views, openstreetmap.org download based on GPS position, highly configurable UI, auto-start of gpsd, voice notifications, address lookup and more! (requires wget)
Full featured on-board navigation software for glider pilots (and everyone else moving through the air). Moving vector map (fully configurable), airspace display and warning, reachable airfields, task management, IGC logging, approach calculator and much more. Originally derived from KFLog, it has many contributors. See homepage for a list. You need to install maps separately (again see homepage). Complete country packages are in the making.
GPS location on maps stored in jpg or png files. Hike is a simple application for displaying GPS location on a map provided as an image file, typically obtained with a digital camera. Conversion from longitude/latitude to pixel coordinates is based on some reference points (at least 2) entered directly in Hike. Typical usage is for places where good electronic maps aren't easily available, such as hiking paths.
