N900 as secondary display

I would like the possibility to use my N900 as a secondary PC monitor.

I know there are Remote Desktop apps but this is not what i need. What i need is a app or mod to get the PC to identify N900 as a 800*480 lcd (touchscreen) monitor, where i could extend my desktop (windows, linux, osx, all wich have multiscreen support). This would add hundreds of possibilities to N900 + home PC usage.

Abviosly the first solution that comes to mind is adding a virtual monitor to PC:s os and then connecting your N900 device to the virtual monitor via some client app?
